It’s back to school season! The only time of the year that you are required to scour the city or internet for velcro shoes with white bottoms…
I’m sure you’ve realized it’s back to school season since everyone is either complaining about bussing or school supplies being sold out or having to pack lunches again…and by everyone I mean me!
The one thing I made sure to leave to the end of the summer and right before Annaliese goes back to school is to buy her indoor shoes that require white bottoms (so they don’t scuff up the school’s floors). Another trick or motherhood hack (that will hopefully save you money) that I learned last year is that you should find a spot, like your family calendar, to write down all your kid’s shoe sizes and measurements. That way when the label is worn out on the tongue of the shoe you will know what the last size you ordered for your kid.
Also, learn from my mistakes by always checking each retailers size chart. Do not assume that each brand has the same size guide!
Personally, I love the boho shoes from Gap but last year I bought Annaliese the unicorn shoes and she is adamant to have them again in a bigger size this year. She’s her mother’s daughter – a creature of habit!
