Looking for an Edmonton fall family activity? Plan a fun fall walk with the whole family at the U of A Botanical Gardens!

It’s not too late to take up this awesome opportunity at the University of Alberta Botanical Gardens – until October 11th, 2021 all kids and students (with valid Student IDs) are free admissions!

Looking for fun outdoor activities in Edmonton that do not require masks? Check out Hannah's, from the popular Edmonton blog Honey & Betts, suggestion of the University of Alberta Botanical Gardens! Until October 11th all kids and students are free! Check out this cheap fall activity!

As of October 6th, masks are only required inside the buildings. The outdoor cafe is open – we treated ourselves to a cracker plate, Meuwly’s mild pepperoni sausage, an Italian Centre veggie sub, and a coffee. I loved seeing so many local options, and the cracker plate came with some delicious spicy jams.

With 4 kids ranging from 2 years old to 8 years old, we were able to complete all the garden walks in 2 hours. We visited the Botanical Gardens early on a weekday and there was no one there, the kids were able to be rowdy and run around freely. We greatly enjoyed our fall walk together!

You can book your time slot to arrive online before your visit, advance admissions are required!
